My name is Mary Smith, and I welcome you to my website. This is a new venture for me and one that I hope will grow and improve with time. 
    Now, a bit of background about me. I have taught at Columbus for over 25 years. I taught third grade for the majority of those years and  taught second grade for three years. I am now back teaching third grade and am looking forward to another terrific year.   
    It's fun to now teach children whose parents I have taught in years past. It's always rewarding to see students return for a visit and see how successful many have become. 
    It's even nicer when they take the time to tell you what an influence you made in their life.
